In 2006, Huifang Chen, accompanied by Eddie Martinez on piano, released her first CD, A Musical Journey. 78 minutes long, with 19 timeless classics for the violin, makes this album a delight to the ear. Eddie Martinez studied piano under Rosalina Sackstein at the University of Miami, where he was also a Concerto Competition Winner. Huifang and Eddie were borth members of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra for many years until its demise in 2003, where Eddie was a violinist. Huifang and Eddie have concertized extensively and this recordng is their first collaboration.
